At VASCOD (Volunteer Action Supporting Community Organization Development Uganda), we are committed to creating lasting change in underserved communities across Uganda. Through impactful initiatives in clean water, education, food security, and empowerment, we strive to uplift lives and build sustainable futures.

Focus Areas
Our Programs
We focus on three key areas that create lasting impact and transform entire communities.
Education
We believe that education is a powerful tool for change. VASCOD-Uganda supports children with school supplies, tuition assistance, and learning opportunities to help them grow, thrive, and build a better future.
Health & Wellness
We promote healthier lives by offering basic medical aid, hygiene supplies, and wellness education. Our goal is to reduce preventable illness and improve access to health services in rural areas.
Food Security
No family should struggle to find their next meal. We provide food aid and support local farming, while also training individuals with skills that promote independence and long-term community resilience.

Featured Story
Grace's Journey to Clean Water
For years, Grace walked 5 kilometers each day to collect water from a contaminated source. Her children frequently fell ill, and she had no time for income-generating activities.
When VASCOD built a water point in her village, everything changed. Today, Grace runs a small garden using the clean water, her children attend school regularly, and the entire community has seen a dramatic decrease in waterborne diseases.
